The Way-Back Machine Posted Sunday, September 30, 2012 08:13 PM Do you have any of your old Marshall yearbooks or other papers? Do you have an encyclopedic memory? Here's a call for names. Please help if you can, especially those of you from the early days. My mom threw out all my old yearbooks but 1962 when she moved out of Huntington, so all I have left is my memory. Here are the names I remember, teachers and classmates, plus a few others whose names were just plain interesting. If you have any leftover pieces of memorabilia, or remember a few more names, please chip in. Thanks! --Ronni

RE: The Way-Back Machine Posted Monday, October 1, 2012 06:12 AM Hi Ronni, Thank you for this post! Since I was only at Marshall HS for my Junior and Senior years, I have nothing to contribute for the early years. However, I will email the class and let them know about your post. Bill |

RE: The Way-Back Machine Posted Monday, October 1, 2012 11:24 AM Hi Ronni, I didn't know most of the people listed in your Way-Back Machine. There are a couple of connections, however. Laurie Cahill died some years ago. I don't know the circumstances of her death, but I came across this bit of info on an HHS reunion site a couple of years ago. I didn't know Chrissy Smith well, but I remember our senior year that she and I (and Jenny?) were ushers for the MU Artist's Series at the Keith-Albee. One evening Chrissy sported short, white leather gloves. I thought they were the cat's meow. She was always so chic. Love those unusual names! I remember Petrie Dobbs' name popping up in conversations and I always thought it sounded like a name of a female detective in a clever series. Jean is in close touch with former math teacher Ourania Grambos. "Rani" will be joining us for lunch at Huntington Prime on Saturday, Oct. 13. Mary Jo
